Logline
As war ravages Paraguay, the women turn their blame on Eliza Lynch, the dictator’s privileged yet powerless partner. On the night of their violent reckoning, with the intervention of a Wolf Woman, their collective rage transforms into a united howl of liberation. Set in Paraguay in 1868 during the bloodiest war in Latin American History, the Triple Alliance War.

Artistic Statement
Born in Paraguay, I keep returning to the women who sustained my country through the War of the Triple Alliance and to a deeply personal question: what happens to a woman’s voice when her survival depends on keeping it quiet? This film is my way of returning to Paraguay’s memory and listening to the voices waiting to be heard.
